The 185 is powered by Hino’s J-series 4-valve turbocharged, intercooled 4-cylinder diesel engine, which is rated 175 H.P.

The Hino 185 comes standard with a 5-speed Eaton FS4205A manual transmission and an optional 4-speed AISIN 450-43LE or 6-speed Allison 1000RDS automatic transmission. Braking is accomplished through a hydraulic dual circuit system with ABS. New for 2009 is our oillubricated
front wheel bearings providing extended wheel bearing service intervals.

The 2009 Hino 185 comes standard with air-conditioning, tilt and a telescopic steering wheel, electric windows, AM/FM CD player, an adjustable reclining air-suspension seat and a chrome grille.
