The 308 is excellent for cargo delivery operations that require the versatility of a truck with a payload capacity of over 16,000 lbs. Many customers have commented on the superb handling and outstanding fuel-economy of their 308s. Available wheel bases: 175 to 271 inches.

The 308 is equipped with the Hino 220 H.P. J-Series OHC 4-valve turbocharged, intercooled 6-cylinder engine. The 308 comes standard with a 6-speed Eaton FS5406A manual transmission and an optional 5-speed Allison 2500 RDS automatic transmission. Braking is accomplished through a hydraulic disc system with ABS or exhaust brake.

The 2008 308 Hino comes standard with air-conditioning, cruise-control, tilt and telescopic steering, electric windows, AM/FM, CD player, coil spring seat, self-adjusting clutch, oil-lubricated front-wheel bearings, a 3-piece front bumper and a chrome grille.
