This truck is Hino’s flagship. The 358 is equipped with the Hino 260 H.P. J-Series OHC 4-valve turbocharged, intercooled 6-cylinder engine.

The 358 comes standard with a 6-speed Eaton FS6406A manual transmission and the availability of an optional 6-speed Allison 3000 RDS automatic transmission. Braking is accomplished through a full air-brake system with ABS.

The 2009 358 Hino comes standard with air-conditioning, cruise-control, tilt and telescopic steering, electric windows, AM/FM, CD player, an adjustable reclining air-suspension seat, autoadjusting clutch (M/T models only), oil-lubricated front-wheel bearings, a chrome bumper and a chrome grille.
