The Hino 165 comes standard with a 5-speed Eaton FS4205A manual transmission and an optional 4-speed AISIN 450-43LE or Allison RDS automatic transmission. Braking is accomplished through a hydraulic disc system with ABS or exhaust brake.
All 2008 Hino 165 trucks come standard with air-conditioning, cruise-control, tilt and a telescopic steering wheel, electric windows, AM/FM, CD player, a spring suspension seat and a chrome grille.
