Jeff Polovick has been in the automotive industry for over thirty years. In 1996 he opened Hino Central, an affiliate to his hugely successful DRIVING FORCE Vehicle Rentals, Sales and Leasing company.  

Polovick was born in Saskatoon and raised in rural Saskatchewan. After a stint in the mining industry, Polovick moved to Alberta. A short time later, he began what was to become a long and successful career in the automotive industry. He loves that each day he has the opportunity to learn and grow to meet new challenges. 

Since 1996, Polovick has watched Hino Central Edmonton grow to become the number one Hino dealer in Canada and become recognized as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies. He looks forward to Hino Central’s continued success in British Columbia.

Moe Wetzel has over 36 years experience in the transportation industry. He has held a variety of positions over the years, most recently as district manager Pacific district with a national truck leasing and rental company. He has experience working with class 3 to class 8 trucks. 

Moe’s primary focus is to work with the Hino Central team to provide exceptional service. He has a consultative approach to developing vehicle specifications that ensure customer’s requirements are met, and that the most economical options are offered. Moe’s standard demands integrity from all facets of Hino Central’s operation.

Dale has been working within the commercial truck industry for 10 years. During that time, Dale has served as a parts person and service advisor, as well as a parts and service manager. He enjoys working in the positive, team-oriented environment that can be found at Hino Central. Whether a customer is inquiring about parts or service or is visiting the shop for service work, it is Dale’s goal to ensure that they have a pleasant and satisfying experience.

Controller - Joanne Aune

A member of the team since 1986, Joanne has seen the company grow from a single location in Spruce Grove, Alberta, to a national company with a complete range of products and services. Now, as controller for HINO Central, Joanne is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the company’s two HINO locations, and is an important part of the management team.

A native of Australia, Joanne and her family try to return “down under” as often as possible.
