Our Team at Hino Central Langley
Vice President, Hino Operations - Greg Tilley
Greg has played a pivotal role in building the most successful Hino dealership group in Canada, with stores having achieved top national rankings under his management. He brings more than 30 years automotive experience to bear on operations, planning and forecasting, with particular emphasis on expense control.
Greg has demonstrated exceptional strengths as a coach and team-builder since joining Hino Central to open the first dealership, in 1996. He now leads teams in Edmonton, Calgary, Langley and Fort McMurray, as well as heading up the development of new locations as we continue to grow the Hino Central brand.
Greg is especially proud of Hino Central’s growing reputation for exceptional service, and is happy to offer customers the security of a trustworthy brand, experienced sales staff and exceptional service technicians.
Controller - Joanne Aune
A member of the team since 1986, Joanne has seen the company grow from a single location in Spruce Grove, Alberta, to a national company with a complete range of products and services. Now, as controller for Hino Central, Joanne is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the company’s Hino locations, and is an important part of the management team.
A native of Australia, Joanne and her family try to return “down under” as often as possible.
General Sales Manager - M.D. (Moe) Wetzel
Since starting with Hino Central in 2007, Moe has established a strong presence for the company in BC’s lower mainland. He has played a number of critical roles in the location’s growth and success, including leading the opening of new offices and modern service facilities.
With nearly four decades in the automotive and truck leasing industry, Moe is the perfect candidate to head up sales for Hino Central in the Fraser Valley. His consultative approach and dedication to customer service ensures that the entire sales team maintains constant focus on meeting our customers’ needs. Moe’s experience and integrity have a positive impact on all aspects of operations.
Parts & Service Manager - Claude Monjo
Claude brings more than 40 years of shop experience to the Hino Central team. Starting as an automotive technician, and eventually going on to achieve his heavy-duty ticket as well, Claude gained the experience that allowed him to open his own shop, doing both light and heavy duty repairs, for more than 20 years. He then transitioned to service management, working for various clients and companies for a full decade before joining Hino Central in 2012.
Claude still loves the business, and especially working with customers and staff, alike. “I really like the communication and interaction with all the people,” he says. “And I still love being able to take pride in the quality of our work and the organization, overall. That’s something that our customers always notice.”
Away from work, Claude is an avid outdoorsman who spends his free time camping and fishing, or staying young with his seven grandchildren.
Sales and Leasing Consultant - Lucky Badesha
If you ask Lucky, he will say he’s in exactly the right job. “I like the industry. I love to talk about trucking. I drove trucks for ten years and really liked being on the road. Now, being in sales means I get to talk to all kinds of people about trucks and driving, so I really enjoy what I do.”
It seems a long way to come, from law school in India to selling trucks on Canada’s west coast, but Lucky says it was the right move for him and his family. “I left my studies to come to Canada in 1995. I believed this would be a better place to raise a family and give my kids a better future. It has certainly turned out that way.” 15 years later, Lucky, his wife and two children have come to call Vancouver home.
Sales and Leasing Consultant - Tim Stiksma
From his first jobs in construction and floor-laying, Tim found his way into the vehicle industry by working in a van body and deck fabrication shop. From service writing and administration, he quickly moved to a sales role, eventually leading him to Hino Central. Tim says he was so impressed with the people and the company that he decided to join the team. “I really like working with all the staff, and I get a real sense of satisfaction out of working with the customer to come up with the solution to their needs,” says Tim.
A married father of four, Tim lists his interests as hockey, hockey, and more hockey. An avid player and fan, he is also one of the organizers behind the annual Pucks 4 Profit Charity Hockey Tournament in support of third-world development and disaster relief, raising more than $70,000 over six years.
